Viribus TG1 Pro 350W Electric Tricycle Troubleshooting

ABE-S Series Troubleshooting Guide

1. Battery Not Working

1.1. Turn the battery key to “ON,” press and hold the charge indicator button, and check the indicator light:

If only one red light or no lights are on, the battery is dead. Fully charge it before use.

2. Wheels Slip Without Moving When Pedaling

2.1. While pedaling, check if the chain moves:

If not, replace the crankshaft.

If it moves, inspect the flywheel:

Tighten the securing screws.

If still loose, replace the flywheel.

3. LCD Display Doesn’t Light Up

3.1. Confirm the battery key switch is “ON.”

3.2. Press and hold the battery power button:

If only one red light is on, charge the battery fully.

If one red and one green, or one red and two green lights are on:

Long-press the “M” button:

If it doesn’t turn on, check the controller-to-display harness. If secure, replace the display first.

4. Display On but Motor Doesn’t Work When Throttling

4.1. Check for error codes or fault symbols:

If present: See Section 7.

If absent:

Ensure PAS is set to 1–5:

If not, adjust and test.

If set, test in PAS mode:

If the motor works, check the throttle harness. If secure, replace the throttle.

If not, measure the controller-to-motor phase lines (as in 4.1.2 of AAE-L/M1AB). Equal voltages indicate a motor issue; unequal voltages indicate a controller issue.

5. Headlight Doesn’t Light Up

5.1. Ensure the display is on.

5.2. Check the controller-to-headlight wiring harness.

5.3. Test the horn button.

5.4. If all tests are normal, replace the headlight.

6. Battery Cannot Be Charged (No Power After 4–5 Hours)

6.1. After 4–5 hours of charging, observe the charger indicator light:

If the light is green before connecting and red after, replace the battery.

If the light is red without the battery, replace the charger.

If the light is always green, check the fuse. If intact, the battery is in low-power protection mode and needs replacement.

7. Common Error Codes

7.1. E04: Throttle Not Returned

Ensure the throttle returns to its original position.

7.2. E06: Undervoltage Protection

Check battery power and charge fully.

7.3. E07: Overvoltage Protection

Verify battery output voltage is normal. If so, replace the controller.

7.4. E08: Motor Hall Signal Fault

Check motor-to-controller harness connectors.

7.5. E09: Motor Phase Line Fault

Inspect motor harness pins. If normal, replace the motor wheel.

7.6. E11: Controller Temperature Sensor Failure

Replace the controller.

7.7. E12: Current Sensor Failure

Replace the controller.

7.8. E13: Battery Temperature Failure

Turn off the device and let the battery cool before use.

7.9. E14: Motor Temperature Failure

Turn off and cool the motor before use.

7.10. E21: Speed Sensor Failure

Check the speed sensor-to-controller harness. If normal, replace the sensor.

7.11. E22: BMS Communication Failure

Replace the battery.

7.12. E30: Communication Fault

Check the LCD-to-controller harness. If normal, replace both.

8. E-Trike Doesn’t Work

8.1. Check if the display is on:

If on: Follow Section 4.1 steps.

If off: Follow Section 3.2 steps.

9. Brakes Don’t Work

9.1. Ensure the brake cable is in the handle clip.

9.2. Adjust the brake cable tension at the caliper end.

10. Chain Keeps Falling Off

10.1. Align the front and rear sprockets if misaligned.

10.2. Check for sprocket damage.

10.3. Tighten the chain by adjusting the frames.

11. Handlebar Cannot Control Front Wheel Direction

11.1. Tighten the handlebar-to-stem screws.

11.2. Ensure the stem screw is tight and the handlebar is perpendicular to the front wheel’s plane.
